Stuff I have done to Daisy

This is a complete list of all the changes I made.




I bought Daisy on 17/5/2018.  
  1. Repaired the steering and brakes
  2. Replaced the exhaust
  3. Added GPS and reversing camera
  4. Removed the tired decor stripe
  5. Replaced the passenger wing mirror
  6. Replaced the extractor fan
  7. Added another reversing light
  8. Removed the roof box
  9. Changed starter relay and wiring to cure hot start problem
  10. Fixed the cigar lighter (so the GPS would work)
  11. Cleaned the outside, including the strange black spots on the roof.
  12. Painted the side skirt, fixed a hole at the back
  13. Painted the front bumper
  14. Fixed the passenger sun visor so it stays up
  15. Replaced the interior light bulb
  16. Added 2 more 240v sockets
  17. Added bead seat covers
  18. Replaced the floor mats
  19. Cleaned the interior carpets
  20. Added a dash clock
  21. Added new interior clock and thermometer
  22. Fixed the drivers window winder
  23. Built side window screens
  24. Added a phone charging point
  25. Added 8 interior lights
  26. Replaced 5 curtains
  27. Replaced toilet and fresh water pumps
  28. Added top cupboard stays
  29. Routine service
  30. Replaced lock on the strange outside door on the toilet
  31. Covered the accommodation door in plastic wrap
  32. Replaced wheel trims
  33. Painted the wiper arms
  34. Replaced the sliding window channel
  35. Replaced the herzin strip around the back
  36. Repaired the awning
  37. Re-upholstered all seats and front headlining
  38. Replaced all the gas pipework to meet current standards
  39. Installed parking sensors
  40. Replaced front tyres, putting a good tyre on the spare wheel
  41. Installed a phone charging point running from the leisure battery
  42. Rebuild the bung and drain mechanism for the main water tank
  43. Added a level sensor for the fresh water tank
  44. Replaced the sink waste
  45. Added interior carpets
  46. New windscreen wiper
  47. Added speakers and amp
  48. New vehicle battery
  49. New in car stereo
  50. Replaced rear tyres
  51. Simplified and rewired habitation
  52. Replaced Habitation Transformer and added a low voltage battery protection.
  53. Replaced habitation battery
  54. Added isolation valves to the water system under the sink
  55. Added valves by main tank to enable easy draining
  56. Replaced hose under sink
  57. Added a motion-sensing light sabre
  58. Added a voltage sensing relay to improve charging
  59. Alarm when driving off with hookup connected

  1. Very good updates, i got the same model, but i never used the gas water heater , i want to ask you how can i fill the heater with water?

      Where are you?

      A few jb500 folk are on the delicaforum
      Com site.

      The water heater is very reliable. Just fill via the cap on the drivers side which fills the tank under the seat that backs onto the toilet wall. Turn on the gas and black switch and it should work. 20 mins to a decent hot shower.

Thanks for reply!, im from Chile, i had this camper for almost 3 years on my side and never used the water heater before (with the weather conditions here is not so neccesary) but im thinking use it on winter days, this weekend im gonna let the heater works and i ll let you know any notice,!
